Biography

Elected Member of Parliament for Kyotera District in the 2021 General Election, Fortunate Nantongo represents her constituents with dedication and vigor. As a member of the Democratic Party of Uganda, she has emerged as a passionate advocate for women's empowerment, education, and healthcare access in Kyotera.

Nantongo serves on the Parliamentary Committee on Gender, Labour, and Social Development, where she contributes to the formulation and oversight of policies aimed at improving the well-being of all Ugandans, particularly the marginalized.

In addition to her legislative duties, Nantongo is a mother of three and an active member of her local community. Her personal and professional experiences drive her commitment to creating a better future for her constituents.
